Callisto v0.60 Update - Week 8
🕑 Added 2021-03-05 05:18:16 +0000 UTCFirstly thanks to all those that voted in the Pirate Poll. The results are really not what I expected. One of the interesting things is that Kaa'na and Kii'na are based upon the same asset. The asset creator updated the asset last week to G8.1F and also changed the skin. Funny thing is, that all of you seem to prefer the older Kaa'na variant, than the newer Kii'na variant. I'm going to working on the Piracy content next week, hence if you want your say, you need to vote soon. Also keep in mind that you can vote for multiple characters. I will include 4 of 6 characters out of each poll.
Progress over the past week has been pretty good. The work required to complete the miscellaneous content looks to have been fairly well estimated. As such, with the extra effort put in last week, I was able to pull back a couple of days to the forecast date.
Next week I will do my best to close out the miscellaneous content. This will allow me to move onto the side mission the following week. The side mission is already coded / written, leaving 150 images to be created to complete the content. Following this is the internal testing / tweaking required prior to the release of the beta.
Whilst not in the current schedule, I will likely add a Rachel backstory in the time between the beta and the official release. The development team have been kicking around some script ideas and I did a quick sample render as below yesterday.
Thanks for your support,
Xav
