Tune in this week to hear about what it takes to get a permit, including all the costs and intricacies involved. Last but not least, we answer some questions: Are we keeping the glass? Hi Nick! Your guess about when double-pane came out was a bit off. In 1978, my parents replaced all of the single pane windows of our 1920's house with double pane Pella windows. I did a bit of research and learned that in the 1940's, some US homes were being built with double pane windows. By the 1970's, double-pane windows were common in houses. π

Listener question: You mentioned possible future projects like a cabin. Would love to hear more about that. Congrats on the permit!
