Beatrice used up all her mana that she stored up in the 400 years of waiting against the infinite Great Rabbit so that's why her mana is very limited without her contracter. Both she and Subaru depend on each other to be at their best, so Beatrice had to rely on Great Magic Crystals in this fight to perform spells. The weapon that Felt had is actually one of Echidna's which is why its so powerful and why Beatrice is familiar with it. That's why she says "Mother" and that she had old memories with it. Yeah, the Julius cliffhanger is dirty. It isn't Re Zero if there isn't suffering at every moment. With that season 3 is over, I'm glad that you were able to catch up for Season 3 Part 2 and can't wait for your other reactions like Bleach TYBW(when youtube gets there eventually) and Season 4 in the future! Season 4 has been announced to be in production! They dropped two teaser images that I will link and also a short teaser video! Season 4 is widely regarded as Re Zero's best arc and one of the best arcs in anime so this is pretty hype. With Season 4 already being confirmed to be in production, I predict that we will probably be waiting a year or two till the next season.
