To avoid any misunderstanding, I will be deleting the last authors note and in the meantime, I need you to help me clarify something.
I personally feel like I have reached a point in the story where It wouldn't be ideal to continue. Because let's face it, Shigaraki and Kurogiri are dead so the entire MHA plot is stalled.
To think a bratty antagonist has so much weight on the story. You can ask why if you don't understand.
I thought about this when writing Shigaraki's Death but ... It's extremely annoying seeing Shigaraki alive in every fanfic I've read when there's obvious chances to kill him, so in respect to making things different from canon, I went through with it anyway. Future arcs like the sports festival, Hero killer and all that will simply not be interesting due to Ken's power level.
The only way to actually progress is either to bring in OC elements and take the story further off the rails, or focus heavily on slice of life for the long run. I felt it would get boring anyway with time because my interest won't be vested in it and while this story is comedic thriller, i am not sure how well I have done in terms of slice of life and comedy, ultimately leading to my decision.
However, recent comment drew my attention to the possible disappointment and a possible idea. I should have probably asked first before unilaterally ending the story. I apologise for that, especially to the new readers.
My point is, what are your thoughts on introducing OC elements, Multiversal Travel or even Universal Merging?
I will still end this story officially here, but depending on your response tonight (for me it's nighttime here) I could have a sequel ready jn a day or two at most.
Of course I would be going beyond canon reins at this point.

I should add on because I had gotten reminded by a comment below. You should write whatever you want and feel comfortable with. It's your story and as long as you're happy with what you're doing, because writing stories is SUPPOSED to be fun.

Im open with any ideas that flesh out the story or add new perspectives to the situation that has happened. To me if feels like theres a lot of potential in the story and I would feel ashamed for it to be dropped or abandoned just as a new change happened and it got us thinking about how everything will play out or progress. If you feel confident about including any elements to keep it entertaining and make it an enjoyable read to the end then go for it, but I also dont want you to push the story forward if theres no plan or structure to keep the quality of the story as good as it was. Or if you arent interested anymore then maybe come back to it after you've written more or had a break from this story but I hope it gets a satisfying conclusion because I really enjoyed this so much it was enough for me to get my first patreon donation yo read more! Good luck!

I can't say I'm against multiversal travel or universal merging, but I don't jive with the idea. I can see the potential of it because in a story I read briefly before. it merged around 5 stories with totally different power systems (though I didn't watch any of the series) I couldn't tell that they were different because the author managed to break them apart and glue them neatly together so as I couldn't tell that they were all from separate stories. The power systems he adjusted to fit around each other. They went as far to add their own plot and background lore to make it even less noticeable while adjusting all the lore while keeping the data to fit his lore, so nothing really changed but it made an entirely different story. I change my mind. I'm really curious if you can pull this off. I remember saying something rude to you at the start over on webnovel about "The Gojo power niche sucks" but you've proven me wrong. Go for it!

I think it would have been better for them to try and sheme against the MC and fail every time then just killing them... to just turn the story fully into a power fantasy. But if we go with universe merging i would rather do something similar like in the anime/manga gate

OC elements are great. I've read a few fanfics, though I can't think of any names off the top of my head, that had an OC plot outside of the main story of MHA. And hell, you don't even need an OC plot to begin with. MHA is a world of superheroes. To me, that means you have free reign to include Marvel or DC plots with OC characters. Introduce you're own Joker or Deathstroke or something. I'm not caught up on your fanfic but if AFO is still around, he'd have a backup plan in case Shigaraki fails. Hell, you can even make it so Shiggys sister is still alive and was also "saved" by AFO but they were kept apart so they could think the other was dead.

I think multiversal stuff is a bit much, but I like the idea of OCs getting involved and things going off the rails. Quirks can be literally almost anything, they're getting stronger with each generation and AfO and Garaki are still out there making nomus and boosting high tier villains with an extra quirk. There is plenty of opportunities to challenge Rei, be it directly or indirectly, and taking things to that level would put a lot of pressure on canon characters to grow and development more and in different ways than in canon. REI has Gojos powers, but he isn't planning on being a hero, so he isn't going to be hunting after the bad guys, conflict can come to him via his nefound fame or AfO, but it might be best to treat him similar TO gojo, he's a powerhouse most try to avoid, and he won't want to escalate for fear of villains targeting his mother. But someone inevitably will, or a someone in 1A will be put in serious danger and he'll feel compelled to get involved as these new threats are a result of his meddling. His current understanding of the world is as a shonen anime, but for him this is now a real, living breathing world with 8 billion people and over 6 billion different quirks. The world and it's people won't necessarily react to things exactly how he predicts all the time, especially as the world changes more and more in the coming months and years. There is a lot to consider and lots of possibilities. You're work ethic and update schedule is on like Warp 10, slow down, take a week, consider all the angles, the pros and cons, then make the decision you feel is best

Worlds that could work for Kens strength; JJBA (without a buff hes screwed at a certain point), HXH, JJK, Danny Phantom, Percy Jackson, Teen Titans, TMNT, the start of Magi (without a Djinn or something stronger he's dead), RWBY, The Legned of Zelda, Berserk (without fighting the insane apostles he's good for the most part), Yu-Gi-Oh (without an insane buff the Spirt World is off limits without him dying immediately), One Piece (post- time skip he's not strong enough without a buff), Pokemon, Digimon (without a massive buff he dies), Young Justice, HOTD, DxD, Resident Evil, Code Geass (he can fight and possibly elimate the Geass effects on himself), Fairy Tail (without some buff he dies by the time of Grimore Heart), Parasyte, Left 4 Dead, and Baki (as weird as it sounds without infinity, he has coin flipping chance he might die to Yujiro)

i read this fanfic where the premise is not only humans got quirks so did animals maybe that would interest you as a new idea ? or you if you want to keep this story going maybe get him back to his old world to suddenly discover its not really a normal world but idk fate ? that would be a good idea no ?

Multiverse stuff always ruins fics. I've read too many fics where it started out good just to start following the same old boring uninteresting formula. Then what made the fic good in the first place ends up turning into a steaming pile of filth. Once that is introduced then it's only a matter of time before other stupid tropes/plot lines start getting added, furthering an already decreasing fic. I appreciate what this fic was but I also understand that nothing can really be done with a major point to MHA's story (Shigaraki) no longer being present. I personally would rather see something new than to see something become convoluted and uninteresting. Thank you for the note and I hope to see what you come up with next.
