We're a bit late, but finally jumping on 'The Last of Us' bandwagon! We're excited to finish the first season and start the second with everyone when it premieres on Sunday, April 13.
"The Last of Us", based on the hit video game with the same title, follows Joel- a hardened survivor- as he's tasked with escorting Ellie, a seemingly immune 14-year-old, through a post-apocalyptic United States ravaged by a fungal pandemic that turns humans into aggressive, zombie-like creatures.

The most fucked up part of Riley and Ellie's story is that they decided to just turn into infected together but Ellie would notice Riley slowly losing herself to the fungus while she was staying cognizant. Eventually there would be a point where the realization that she wasn't turning set in and she would have to "deal" with Riley.
