There was a layer of control with the bones, so I could move the nipples around and make them bigger. Lately though, I've experimented with making them more detailed. I explain a bit about that in the first aftermath. But they were made once the scene was complete, and re-using that with my current workflow is difficult. To save time, I had to look into methods that would solve that. Normally I'm lazy and would just postpone it until the end of time. However, I needed inverted nipples for a special character. One that I'll be using continuously. As you can see, the result isn't too bad!
So I did this by copying the nipple object, parent it to the first areola bone and add an Skin modifier to it with newly created bones. It was my first time trying something like it, and the weird model didn't make it any easier. Fortunately, the end result is a lot easier to use, just like my entirely custom-made rig.
As to who this shy nipple belongs to... Well, you'll find out soon enough.
