This was a more complicated piece so there's a lot of steps. If you have any questions about my process please don't hesitate and ask away!
As you can see my sketches are very messy, I'm sorry if it's hard to understand.

This took me around maybe 6 hours to complete from start to finish, I think.

Oh, thank you! I generally do the wings separately coz they're easier to make this way π€ once I finish them they're out of the way and I don't get confused when doing the lineart for the remaining characters. And when poses get too difficult I look for references or take photos π€£ but recently I haven't had the need π€for this particular pose I didn't use references

Wow, the lighting is great and I really love how you did Huskβs wings. Is there a reason you colored in certain parts before finishing the line work? Also, do you use pose references or just go based off of what you know?
