Kentaro Miura passing
🕑 Added 2021-05-20 17:00:43 +0000 UTCOne day I got given that old video dusty cassette of Berserk and I had no idea what it was about. Then I watched it and it was the best thing I have ever watched. Because the series made me upset, sad, happy, shocked, and also gave me a lot of willpower for what I am so passionate about. All sort of things. I owe the creator a lot of who I am today.
Yesterday was announced that the author of Berserk died on May the 6th. 2 days after my birthdate. And it's that kind of day that I'm not so spirited. Because even though I never met the guy, the series was a lot more than just that.
And over the years I say so often how much I love it and just like Kuja, some stories just are meant to make you feel related to something. And I think it's important to have that.
I was scrolling through old pictures of the anime, it's so nostalgic. I did read the manga, seen the movies and watched the most recent, but nothing hit more than the first thing that got you into it.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing as well. You introduced me to Berserk years ago, Kuja, and Iβm forever grateful for that. ππ Berserk IS a phenomenal series, and I hope others continue to appreciate it and its characters as much as we do. Mad respects to Miura-sanβMay he rest In peace.
