Weekend Blues

There were chores to be done, laundry to fold, dishes to wash, the yard to tidy but it wasn’t just about crossing off tasks. It was the way we worked together as a family, sharing laughs and even a little frustration along the way.
The joy was in the togetherness, in the simple moments that are so easy to overlook until they’re gone. The sound of my kids playing in the backyard, me with my ‘gentle’ reminders for Matt to stay on task, the small victories like finally finishing that never-ending shed organization and shelf building… it all added up to something special.
This morning as I look back, I realize how much I wish I could relive this past weekend.
Here are a few of my favorite pics from the weekend.
