The point where we are Blue -- I'm 44, you're 45 -- it's crazy how similar we're thinking -- no time for BS -- and no time for those who don't have best interests... I created a set of new year resets, not resolutions since those are so easy to feel bad about when you fail -- but they had a lot to do with taking stock of who my friends are now, growing those friends, and one of my favorite -- if it feels awkward or wrong or weird -- change things up. For too long I've been "it's fine... this is fine" And now -- I'm being more up front and saying -- if it's not right -- CHANGE! Thanks for naming all of that, and saying it... it's cool to see I'm not alone in my thoughts.

also, back to plants. The bird of paradise flower was big here in the floral industry for awhile. They would cut early morning and drive them to the airport to supply the city floral markets. I am not sure they are still in vogue tho' (Memories)
