PLEASE do not share my content in a public space or on a website that can be easily found on Google. Please just think about it. On any publicly accessible website, you KNOW that a small percentage of people on that website is going to be terrible, awful people, some of whom are minors. How can I feel comfortable making genuine lewd content when I know there are people posting my stuff in areas that minors can access?
It's one thing to share my stuff with a friend you know because chances are, your friend is 18+ and a reasonable guy. You know the chances of your friend coming to harass me personally is slim.
It's another thing to share my stuff on a random website that anyone can access. Just by putting me somewhere public, you are exposing me to some of the nastiest, most awful people. You are jeopardizing my safety and comfort for pretty much no gain.
=== WHAT HAPPENED WITH SIMPCITY? ===
At the point of me writing this, I've only been making lewd content for about a year. Point is, I'm not very experienced. When I started, I slapped all my stuff in a public Google Drive folder that was accessible by anyone with the link. I am regretful of this decision.
Somebody shared the Google Drive on Simpcity which resulted in a chain of unfortunate events:
- The Google Drive got nuked because it got flagged for suspicious activity from high traffic. Then it got taken down because you aren't supposed to have NSFW videos on GDrive.
- This Google Drive was attached to my email, which anyone could access if they had a link to the GDrive.
- People who have been accessing my GDrive without me knowing immediately started emailing me, demanding to know where the videos went.
Please keep in mind that:
1) I did not mind people sharing my stuff around *at the time*.
2) I did not take down the Google Drive. Google itself slammed the gavel down and nuked it. Given the choice, I would have used GDrive forever, never caring who was on it.
3) I'm a small streamer who is really doing her best. I don't make mad bank and I don't have a management team that can protect me when bad things like this happens.
I wake up one day and the Google Drive is dead. I was very aware of this because I had received over 100 GDrive requests and 50 hand-typed emails from people I didn't know and people who had never joined the Patreon. Some of these emails were people straightforwardly requesting access to the folder. Some of these emails were entitled and hurtful. But the ones that got to me were the multiple death threats. Rude messages and trolls are things everyone on the internet has to deal with, but I draw the line at multiple death threats over something I didn't even do. It was surreal. The very people that led to the destruction of the GDrive were the same people threatening to actually hurt me for its destruction.
It's really hard being a lewd content creator, even when I'm lucky enough to have a space like this to make things within my comfort zone. I never asked for the publicity I got from Simpcity. Because of things I didn't even do, I have gotten more negative feedback than I have ever gotten positive feedback for my lewd content at this point. People who like your stuff are not likely to compliment you, but people who even vaguely dislike your stuff feel comfortable dunking on you on a dime. And that's the kind of atmosphere you've contributed to by sharing my stuff publicly.
This is honestly a plea. I wanted lewd content creation to be fun, but it just isn't fun when I'm getting such malicious comments on my content. It isn't fun when I get monthly emails from people I don't know and who have never pledged to Patreon asking when the next Edging Podcast is going to be. It isn't fun when I never tried to put my lewd content on a public platform and never felt comfortable doing so, but people felt comfortable in stripping that choice from me and exposing me to minors and weirdos without any consideration.
I know that just by writing this, I could incite more malicious people to want to post my stuff more. But I can at least think "Damn, I really tried to share my POV and people still decided to do this to intentionally hurt me." I can get some comfort knowing that it wasn't a careless mistake you made trying to share my stuff with some people. I will know that you chose to be hurtful, you chose to share this against my will, and you chose to make things unsafe and uncomfortable for me.
TL;DR: Unless your goal is to hurt me, please think twice before you share on Simpcity or other public spaces where minors and really terrible people can lurk. Thank you.

Geez, Reiyu… I am SO sorry that You’re going through all this. The sheer balls on these people to act as if they’re entitled to your content without paying for it and threaten you for something they never were supposed to have access to in the first place.
