Latest GTA V and Enhanced update notes
🕑 Added 2025-06-20 06:10:57 +0000 UTCSmall update to manage expectations: it appears the latest update to GTA V caused some incompatibilities. As of now, Manual Transmission still works but is not fully compatible with Enhanced: one patch and one vehicle readout fail on the latest Enhanced version 1.0.889.15.
Legacy's latest version 1.0.3570.0 still works without issue.
The result should be minor (related to disabling throttle lift in some conditions, and wheel steering multiplier not working), while most things should still work. The Gears.log file does get filled up with errors about this and may quickly grow in size if you keep the manual shifting part enabled.
The game can still be played, but with a warning and minor reduced functionality.
I think the best course of action is to update Manual Transmission first before I resume development/checks on Custom Torque Map - which is what I was working on for a while.

All data transferred is still the same; the position and rotation of the vehicle is read with code that is Enhanced/Legacy-agnostic. If you're sure your configuration on Enhanced is the same as Legacy, I can take another look some time later.

I know this is not a main feature of the mod but since it is the only way currently I know to get udp data out of enhanced version I have problems with the motion data. I only get roll/surge to simhub but even those don´t seem to behave correctly, heave/pitch seem to be outputting basically nothing. I previously used spacemonkey on legacy version to get motion data but it isn´t working with the enhanced edition.
