I’m working hard to get the next Patreon exclusive finished! Let us know what you think of Crystal and David Brame in comments. This was a super tough one.
Love to you all ♥️
Crystal and David Brame had been married for eleven years when the tension in their home reached a breaking point. As David’s career in law enforcement advanced, Crystal found it harder to seek help and even harder to escape his control. In February 2003, she filed for divorce and moved out of their home, determined to start over. But in the weeks that followed, emotions ran high—and what happened next would leave an entire community reeling.

I’m very sorry this happened to you, Krissy. I’m so happy that you and your children are out of that situation and safe. You didn’t deserve that treatment and you are so strong for leaving. ♥️

Elements of this hit very close to home. I am a dv survivor. He was 2nd in command at our volunteer fire department & very well respected. I know seeing the switch flip, the hands around the neck, the isolation. I wanted to go to sleep and never wake up. I wouldn’t have done that to my two children. This is a huge reason I became interested in true crime. I watched Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries & other shows for hope if something happened to me there were ways to prove him guilty and keep him away from the children.
