I have a book recommendation for you, “Listen for the Lie” by Amy Tinterra. I’m going to start it after finishing the one I’m currently listening to, “The Wedding People” by Alison Espach, one I can highly recommend. “Listen for the Lie” is about a true crime podcast and it’s won awards as well as high praise from the man himself, Stephen King.

She was actually on the phone with her mom when she spotted David’s car and hung up. Her mom was in a panic and tried to call her back but she didn’t answer. I think it was the first day that Crystal had gone out on her own in a long time.

Was there a cell phone call? I don’t hear anything about cell phones being checked. Maybe she followed him into the parking lot because he called her and said he was gonna kill himself. That would make sense why she would go see him after filing that report.
