The two had been together for almost seven years before Molly finally popped the question and James said yes. But Molly would not live to see the big day. Two days before the wedding she was found dead, with a single bullet through the back of her head, on a desolate dirt road in rural Monroe County, Missouri. The investigation into her death would uncover secrets that would forever change the lives of everyone in James’ and Molly’s orbit.
