Map To Treasure Planet (Colour)
🕑 Added 2021-10-01 14:16:48 +0000 UTCMy favourite Disney Prince is Jim Hawkins ๐๐ชโญ๏ธ๐ซ But heโs not a Prince- SHOOSH. I WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOUR LIES. You wanna try and argue that he doesnโt look like one at the end of the film, in that uniform? Blasphemy!
I loved this scene when Jim is fiddling with the map like a Rubix cube and accidentally unlocks it, revealing the path to legendary pirate treasure. Itโs like one of those space projectors for your bedroom except on a larger scale and you can interact with it like an intergalactic Google maps.
I know Jimโs trousers are super baggy and his boots are wider but *artistic panic* I have a specific way I draw clothes, Iโm sorry AH. But thatโs the point of fan art, right? To draw in your style?
Iโve always wanted the Treasure Planet Voyage of Discovery artbook. But because it was limited edition upon release all those years ago, itโs heckinโ expensive. Iโm talking ยฃ300-ยฃ400 minimum, and thatโs if you can find a seller, theyโre pretty rare. Itโll always be something I want but can never buy. Dear future husband, just buy me a candy Ring Pop and propose to me with this artbook instead.
When I bought the DVD, it came with the Battle at Procyon strategy game for PC. I havenโt had a PC with a disc slot for a LONG time, so this game is still in its plastic packaging hahaha. I would so love to try it someday though! I love that it boasts on the back โplay with your friends over the internet or through LAN in fierce multiplayer battles!โ โMinimum operating system requirements: Windows 95/98/XP.โ โRace through the Etherium to battle space pirates!โ Mate, I WANNA ๐คฃ
I believe my obsession for thigh high boots began with this movie because of Captain Amelia ๐ณ Ahhh, seriously, if you have never seen Treasure Planet, you are denying yourself a beautiful animated classic ๐ค And the soundtrack, HNNNG! So good! ๐
I did read the source material Treasure Island, and I gotta say, it was alright? It wasnโt as exciting as I thought it would be, like obviously itโs not in space with futuristic tech, I know, I just mean, for a famous classical novel, it was okay. Same with Frankenstein and Dracula, they were okay reads and Jesus Christ I hated Moby Dick, most boring book Iโve ever struggled through.
Itโs my favourite movie, Iโm very passionate about it, sorry for the fan ramble >w<
Anyways~ Happy fanart Friday and hope you like how it turned out Jutsubee โญ๏ธ๐

Thank you so much! Joseph Gordon-Levitt was thee perfect voice for Jim and Rzeznik thee perfect guy for music choices, it all came together so nicely ๐๐๐
I can't speak for other people's tastes and how you'll receive Treasure Planet but oh my word I hope you enjoy it, it's brought me so much enjoyment over the years ๐๐๐
Gotta agree about Treasure Island. Recently read it after watching Black Sails and was quite disappointed. Muppet Treasure Island was not as good as I wanted it to be either. ๐ But I have high hopes for Treasure Planet!
Ah you did so good! I love this movie and Jim looks great. I mean how can you go wrong with Joseph Gordon-Lovett as Jim's voice and an awesome some by Johnny Rzeznick. This make me so happy! Love your art
