You used to be a Runner
🕑 Added 2024-11-20 23:27:50 +0000 UTCHey babe, I'm headed to the gym. Before I go, I was wondering, well actually, I've been wondering for a while, when are you gonna start coming with me again? I mean c’mon, it's romantic, it's where we met. You were my little gym crush and now you’ve barely been in the last few years. And babe, not to be that guy, but it's getting pretty obvious.
I mean, look at you. Just a few years ago you used to love working out, you went for runs all the time. We’d go together, and now you just sit on the couch stuffing your face with junk food while I go to the gym and stick to my diet. At first, the difference wasn't that noticeable, I just kept feeling you getting softer and after, but now your clothes aren't fitting quite right.
Yesterday, I watched you try to suck in when you were getting dressed and you couldn’t even hold your stomach in for a few seconds, it just bulged back out and pushed out the front of your shirt. Worst of all, it barely made a difference when you did. Even when you were sucking in, you could still see just how much you’ve put on, just how flabby you're letting yourself get.
Your stomach is actually starting to look rounded all the time, no matter what you're doing. Even when you're lying down on your back your growing little belly is starting to push up into the air, your whole body type is changing right before my eyes. And it's like you don't even notice it. It's like you don't feel yourself getting fatter, like you’re somehow unaware of all those extra pounds just piling up as you get greedier and greedier. You’ve been eating like you're on a bulk lately, but instead of going hard in the gym to build muscle, you’re just letting your muscles melt into flab.
All the definition from your arms and legs is completely gone. Did you even know that you were doing that to yourself? That your lazing around and gorging on junk is undoing all those years of being health-conscious and in decent shape? That you’d never recover from those first few pounds that you thought were no big deal? That you’d fall down this slippery slope that's turned your belly into this unrecognizable tub of flab that seems bigger every day? Your thighs are getting thicker and thicker, and have you noticed all the cellulite?
Everything you wear is tight and just emphasizes the new way your body moves when you walk. You're getting a little slower. You puff a little harder when you have to exert any effort and every step makes your ass, thighs, and belly quiver. That never used to happen to you. You’re noticeably big now.
Your habits have changed too. Do you know how hard it is to be disciplined and stick to my meal preps when you’re ordering those greasy Narcos burritos like every other day? I’m finally really shredded, finally got the six-pack I want, and you’ve become the opposite. You have all this.
Don't be shy, it's too late to be shy now. Look at how much of your belly I can grab, look at how your whole body jiggles uncontrollably when I give that gut a little shake. You’d still describe yourself as chubby, wouldn't you? A little thicker, just big-boned, right? You're deluding yourself, baby. You’ve gotten fat. You’re just another fat girl in denial about how far she’s let herself go. You keep promising yourself you can get back into the swing of things, that it'll be no problem to pick back up your running habit and return to reasonably sized meals, but it's already too late. You’re way too far gone, you probably couldn't struggle through one of your old workouts if you tried.
I couldn't even imagine you going for a run in your current state. Your belly would bounce free from your waistband and be exposed as you tried to pump those fatty little arms and move those tree trunk thighs. You used to actually be good at running, you were focused and you improved your times. Now you probably couldn’t even finish a run on your old route, much less get anywhere close to the pace you used to reach. You’d probably be completely exhausted in 5 minutes flat, entirely worn out from trying to move that heavier body along when you’ve eaten yourself into such terrible shape.
In fact, I wanna watch. I wanna see you squeeze into your old too-tight gym clothes and try to wobble your way through a workout while the straining spandex cuts into your tubby gut and every part of your swollen, puffy body jiggles wildly while you struggle. I’m serious. Get up.
Look at you. You used to run for miles and now that overfed gut bounces while you try to get off the couch. God, that outfit really just shows it all off, really emphasizes how fat you’ve gotten.
Take off that shirt, I wanna see just how much damage you’ve really done. I want a full, unobstructed view of that overfed body while you show me just how little you’ve been exercising lately.
Don’t suck in, let it all out.
Wow. It's even worse than I thought. I’ve never really taken the time to examine you like this, to actually assess how much weight you’ve gained. You hide so much behind your jeans and long sleeves that I didn't realize just how bad this was, just how far you’ve taken things. How different you look from the slightly chubby girl I met.
You’re fat now, aren’t you? I want you to say it. Say you’ve gotten fat.
Don’t look away. You don't agree? Put your hand on that softening gut and tell me again that you don’t agree. You can’t. You know you feel all that extra pudge protruding from your middle.
This is partially my fault too. I can't believe I just stood by and helped you turn yourself into a spoiled, overstuffed little glutton. I let you ignore the gym and watched your running shoes collect dust while you were gorging yourself into this.
Look at that roll of fat on your back, the way it's just getting deeper and encroaching further and further forward. It's a little hint of what you’re gonna look like if you keep packing on weight like this. You’ll have a double belly soon if you don’t get yourself back in shape. That well-padded ass is growing too, your whole body is just plumping up so quickly. You’ve gotten so lazy.
No more excuses. You used to be able to run for miles, now I bet you could barely jog in place for a few minutes. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna make you try.
Come on baby, I'll do it with you. It'll be my little warm-up before I go to the gym for a real workout. Go.
Jesus babe, your shirt rode up immediately. It's a little bit too small, isn't it? And you’re really having to work to force those plush, fatty thighs past each other, you didn't tell me they were starting to rub together like that.
Why are you breathing so heavily? It's just a couple seconds of a light jog, I'm not even breaking a sweat. I can still talk to you, and you’re huffing and puffing like you already wanna quit. Keep going. Don’t you dare stop. How are you ever gonna work all this off if you can't even work out for a full minute?
Your entire body is wobbling like crazy. Your tits and gut are bouncing up and down while your bra straps dig into the shoulders of those fleshy, untoned arms. Babe, this is so humiliating. What barely takes any effort from me is making you sweat and turn red.
You used to be a runner. That gut didn’t used to dominate your figure like that. It's the first thing I see when I see you now, just how much rounder and wider you look. Even your face is getting fat. Every time I watch you take down another chicken burrito, I notice all the different ways you look like a true fatty now. Chubby girls don’t have double chins, only fat girls do. You can pretend, you can try and angle your face up in photos to conceal the gain, but every time I look at you, I see a fat girl's face. A fat girl’s body. You’re not chubby anymore and you know it.
What’s wrong? You can't jog anymore? You're exhausted just from that short minute? Compared to where you were when I met you, that’s pathetic. I used my time during lockdown to perfect my workout routine and make even more adjustments to my diet, and you used the time to eat and laze around. You still act like we’re on lockdown, like the gym is closed and you have no option but to stuff your face. All that indulgence caught right up to you, didn't it? I can see it all over your body, in your face. Even your wrists and fingers have gotten tubbier. Catch your breath big girl, we’re not done.
I want you to get on the ground and try a pushup. Here, watch me so you can remember what your form is supposed to look like, I know it's been a while. See? You try.
Can those flabby arms even hold you up? You’re so much bigger and so much weaker than you were, can you even manage one push-up? C’mon baby, keep trying. Keep grunting as your entire body quivers with the effort of trying to lift all your weight. You could do this before. What happened?
C’mon, one more try. You can't even get your belly off the ground, can you? You’ve gotten too fat to do a single push-up.
Let’s try something else. Flip over to your back. Now, this should be easy, you used to always do sit-ups. Go ahead. God, when you lay like that I can see the stretch marks covering your love handles. If that's not a sign of how quickly you blew up, I don't know what is.
Now go.
Wow baby, one sit-up takes you much longer than it used to, huh? The way your belly bunches up and pushes into those thighs must make it much harder than it was before. And you’re supposed to actually control the descent back down, you’re supposed to engage your ab muscles and lower yourself back to the ground slowly, not just flop backward and make all your flab vibrate because you don't have the strength for anything else.
Let me show you. See how quickly I can do 5 sit-ups? It's cause I don't have a rounded, wobbling belly in my way. Try again.
The way you have to heave yourself upward is so embarrassing. It just highlights even more how much you’ve let yourself go.
Keep going, I didn't say take a break.
Why are you panting baby, what's wrong? Are you actually tired? You're tired from 3 half-hearted sit-ups? So, you wanna be fat. You must want to, because if you were actually ashamed of all this, actually ashamed of the way I can grip and shake any part of your body, of how you’re so much bigger than you were when we met, you would keep working out. Or at least, keep trying to.
C’mon, do another sit-up, just one more.
Oh my god. You can't.
You really can't, you just keep heaving yourself up halfway and dropping back to the floor, huffing and jiggling. You’ve literally gotten too fat to get through a normal workout. Let me help you up. Good thing I’ve been putting on muscle, if you keep getting bigger I'm going to have to keep getting stronger.
Fine. You don't have to come with me to the gym today, I can see you wouldn't make it through the workout, but at least try and control your eating while I’m gone. I don't wanna come back and find you bloated with junk like I usually do. And tomorrow, you're forcing on one of your old athletic sets and we’re doing this again.
No complaining. Until smacking your gut like this doesn't leave the layer of fat covering your whole body wobbling, you’re gonna do these little workouts for me. I can't believe I never really took it all in until this moment.
God, you got fat.
I’ll see you when I get back from the gym.
