I sent you a few suggestions - but in case you use any of it...didn't want to spoil for others.

I love all the layers you give to your characters

Interesting. I'll think about that.

I could.

Would you ever do a cuckquean themed story?

Thank you for elaborating on Amber and Steve. To begin with, they sound almost like Kayley and Sam – but I understand the subtle differences you are making in the balance of the relationship between Amber and David (and Steve) as opposed to the increasingly toxic relationship between Kayley and Leroy (and Sam). I look forward to reading more about this trio (beyond P&I) and discovering just how ‘inventive’ David can get. Incidentally, I don’t know if you are still interested in ‘scenarios’ that could be patched into Kayley and Sam (or other stories), but the shaving scene from Amber has reminded me of something from my own experience that you might be interested in; let me know. However, it still feels as though Kayley and Sam is your magnum opus, because it draws together many threads from your other stories: to use your own analogy – K&S feels like the quilt on the bed of your ‘master bedroom’ which is gradually growing to incorporate a patchwork of scenarios (and the traits of characters) from several of your other stories: perhaps those of Amber (as we are discussing here), Eve’s Cage (previously mentioned) and Blue Movie; we wait to see. You have already warned us that the next cuckolding is going to be hard on Sam (perhaps that will be your revenge on some transgressive member of the male population?) – so maybe it will balance-out anything harsh you are planning for Kayley. As I have commented before (perhaps on Lit), one of the things that intrigues me about the writing of female authors is the way that they treat their ‘heroines’ – often more harshly than some male authors. I sometimes wonder whether such writing is motivated by personal experience, and/or by a need to exorcise personal daemons, or a desire for some form of vicarious wish fulfilment – or if it is simply derived from a very creative imagination. For this reason, I am pleased when female authors reflect on their own writing. (I have previously mentioned another Lit author whose writing I think is very erotic – Emily Miller – who has commented extensively on why she writes what she writes). APD
