Little note
🕑 Added 2020-07-28 10:36:38 +0000 UTCHello my lovely Patrons! I just wanted to let you know of a little change that I decided to introduce.
As you know, I put your names into my descriptions as and extra appreciation point. I used to put full names/nicknames there and now I realized that some of you might not be too happy about it.
So what I changed is - I shortened the last names to a single letter to keep it a bit more private. [Like John D., for example.] I didn't shorten the nicknames though. (You'll see the changes in the upcoming videos.)
I hope that's OK with you and you don't mind :D

These are the good points! 👍🏻
Ana, I suggest instead of taking that burden of masking users’ names constantly, is to update your “About” page &Tier info with a clear disclaimer that their user profile name in Patreon will appear in your YouTube video descriptions, and that they should update their name if they’re concerned about confidentiality. Or you can update the automatic “thank you” email that gets sent out to new pledges (with this disclaimer), or better both. Because even a first name and an initial could still be a concern to some people. Just my opinion!
Lol it's true! I might have changed a couple of nicknames. oops :) However, I'm getting more and more privacy concerned, so I though I needed to do all of that :)
I agree with Alaradia. They should change their “user profile name” in Patreon since Ana has to re-export the Patreon list every once and a while; so she’d have to make those changes each time. And we’re all human so she might miss a name. Also, how can you tell a 2-word nickname from a real name? I wouldn’t be able to tell 100%. Even “Anastasia” sounds like a fake name to me because it’s a name of a princess from an animated movie. 😂 Side note, you should all watch it. 😄
