This ep has really grown on me recently. I used to be a little thrown off by it coming right after The Storm and The Blue Spirit, but now I think it works. I'm in the middle of rereading the 6th Harry Potter book right now, and this reminds me of how all of the romance and friendship drama feels equally as important to Harry as the save-the-world stuff, if not more so.

I believe I've seen the genuine interaction on the internet "well can your science explain how it rains?" "yes!!"

"Should I have mango or papaya for breakfast tomorrow?" "Papaya!" "Aaaw. I hate papaya." Then why did you ASK, Katara? I love this exchange. So funny.

I always forget just how funny this episode is. Sokka getting attacked by the goose is such good physical comedy, so underrated!
I try and avoid mentioning other shows I react to nowadays so I don't alienate too many people haha

No Anya joke when they mentioned the fluffy bunny meaning doom and destruction? I'm disappointed Mr. Duke. Wasted opportunity there.

I thought the Belief vs Science part was just spot on. We've all heard and had a lot of these pointless discussions over the last year, I assume.
