Big Tier Update

Any long-time patrons will know I had always intended to up the tier price as I never expected things to take off the way they did and for this to be a (currently) full-time thing. I'd initially announced it was happening in October 2019 and I didn't because a load of new people joined and I felt bad about changing it. I'd also wanted to hold off because of the pandemic since I know times are hard for a lot of us. It's also a pain changing prices because you can't just edit a tier and change the price, you have to retire it and set up a whole new one.
However, my dad lost his job today. He's going to be moving away soon so I'm having to find a place to live much earlier than I'd anticipated and support us both in the meantime. I do feel terrible for upping prices but at this point it's a necessity for me. If you don't want to pay any more for content I completely get it, and everything that's currently available to the lowest tier will stay that way; only future content will be affected so there's still plenty of content available.
If you signed up for The 100 and Agents of SHIELD reactions specifically at the $2 tier they will also remain unchanged. (EDIT: OUaT will also go to this tier). The $1 tier won't be retired but it'll just become a generic 'support the channel' tier and access to the Discord.
Buffyverse reactions will now be available at the $5 tier for Buffy S7 and Angel S4 & 5. As previously stated, the back catalogue of Buffyverse still on here will still be available to all tiers. I'm really sorry if that's too much for some of you, but I can assure you the reactions won't be going anywhere if you can go for it in the future. If you're brand new here and came at a lower tier anticipating future Buffyverse and don't want to just watch already available stuff, message me for a refund if you wish and I'll sort one for you.
Upping the prices was always a difficult thing for me to do (hence why I've been putting it off for 8 months lmao) but this has forced my hand.

Yeah, you'll need to swap to the $5 tier but you dont have to do it until the next reaction is posted if you like. I think it should only charge the difference between your current tier and the $5 one when you switch

Everything I wanted to say has already been said, so I will keep this short. Your channel is bringing joy to a lot of people, do not feel bad about this decision. I personally feel it is worth it for me and people who cannot afford it will still have the youtube edits. Difficult decisions need to be made from time to time and I appreciate your thoughtful and humble approach. Good luck now and in the future.

Hello Liam. Thanks for offering the lower price as long as you did. It was a great distraction, especially in these times and very quality entertainment. I wish I had the funds to up my pledge to the new amount, but sadly, I don't qualify for any of the covid assistance and my clients dried up about 75% during the pandemic. I was holding onto my patreon pledges despite my severe lack of income at the moment because I didn't want to pull my support to anyone if possible, but I can't afford to increase at this time. I wish you the best and hope to catch up on your Buffy and Angel reactions later on if/when the money situation isn't what it currently is. Have a good one and keep doing what you do, cause it's awesome!

Hey Liam. Your tiers have been very inexpensive relative to others. I went to your $5 tier a while ago, because I felt weird about donating $5/month to Van and Amber and Liam #2, when I enjoy your videos just as much. You and Ian (Passion of the Nerd) have been the only 2 YouTubers that I donate to NOT for your tier rewards, but just to support you, so from my perspective, you're special. :) You might not be aware of how many of us consider you one of our favourites. People mention you pretty often in the comments sections for other reactors' videos... when the topic of our favourite reactors comes up, or things like that.

Sorry to hear about your dad, Liam. I thought Buffyverse full reactions were already $5? Eh, maybe that's just the tier I signed up for and forgot the details. $5 is standard for full reactions (there are some reactors charging $10 which is too much imo), but I totally understand people who can't afford the new pricing, especially during an economical crisis that is going to get worse. I'm looking to drop some reactors myself (not you, of course, Liam!). Best wishes for everyone who is struggling; I hope things improve soon.
