They come back together as one.Solid pencil, but they are damaged. So anything that comes back together from being two separate objects gets damaged. Reconjoining into one

Instead of catching Jolyne, Jotaro instead prioritizes grabbing the pendant, seemingly caring more about keeping the pendant safe than his own daughter. It truly doesn’t seem like Jotaro is a very good father, or at least thinks people may be more disposable after seeing so many of his family and friends dying in the past.

“I hate this kid” Matt one day you’re gonna freaking love this kid! To explain the confusing things. Jotaro grabbed the pendent out of Jolyne hands so she wouldn’t drop it and lose it down a drain again. Ermes used the force of the merge on mcqueens head to knock him out. Usually when someone with a disc stand gets knocked out or violently pummelled the stand disk ejects. Same vice versa. And jotaro was away dealing with evil stand user like Kira when he was away from Jolyne. And if this is confusing you… you’re going to be absolutely bamboozled way later in the part.

I love the fact that you realized the hat is the same, but in part 4 and the beginning of 5 he had the white outfit with the white hat that also transitioned into his hair like that, just with a gradient from white to black.
