Hi Everyone!
It’s Wednesday! The new builds came out on Monday, but it took me a while to get caught up on emails <3 If you’ve written in more than a couple days ago and are waiting on a reply please just hit me up again at [email protected]! I’m doing my best but there were several hundred and I screw things up.
Last week saw the release of Equigon for Oculus Quest, so now it’s out for Windows and the Quest! Yay! 72/90 FPS on the Quest/Quest 2, too!
If you’re not sure how to sideload content that Facebook doesn’t approve of on the Quest, I made a cool little video.
A link to the video is also included with the download for Quest too.
It’s the identical game/experience on both PC and Quest by design. If you find bugs please let me know so I can fix them, but it’s feature-complete for season 1 so I won’t be focused on it, and I’ll be working on Besti X instead.
This is also the official kick-off of Equigon Season 1, too! Season 1 will run through the end of June, so try to get the best score you can. If you submit another score to the global leaderboard and it’s lower than your personal best, the leaderboard keeps your highest score. You’re definitely welcome to make multiple attempts to take the top places. I’m working on what the fabulous prizes should be for the winners but as soon as I have something in-hand that I’ll send you I’ll talk about it. It’ll be something good! When season 1’s over, I’ll take everyone’s feedback and change up the game and add new activities for Season 2 <3
Important: If you change your name or reset your settings in the menu, it will make you a new person on the board. Something to keep in mind.
If you’re not in possession of VR stuff no worries! The very next standalone thing will be an extreme content VR and 2D sexually explicit/titillating experience. Besti X and the Besti SDK version that I used to make Equigon will be out shortly, too. Make your own game just like it if you wanna.
This week I’m going to continue to focus on the credits mini game I’ve been making in the Besti SDK. I want the credits to be fun instead of a normal credits thing that folks never click on. I want to incentivize people to go in there and I think I have a pretty good idea how to do that <3
I’ll also continue to get on top of emails as best I can this week. Thanks for writing in and thanks for your patience!
I’ll be back on Monday with an update on how the rest of the week went and keep everyone updated <3
