It's a wild ride for sure, they always hit you with unexpected things, there's always "monster" of the week episodes in every season. This season, The Witch(Ep3) Teacher's Pet( Ep4) and This one The Pack are Monsters of the week episodes. If i remember correctly there is 5 MOTW episodes in season one. Usually 3 to 5 episodes each season. They did that as well on the tv show X-Files.
