I read all the books, there is so much story not conveyed in this movie or Queen of the Damned. I really wish people stuck to the books better.

Now that I've finished the reaction, I encourage you to check out the show since you liked this movie so much. Watch it on your own time if you don't want shows on your channel. In my opinion, Sam Reid's Lestat is even better than Tom Cruise's Lestat. It also does a great job of capturing the spirit of the novel.

Jay - you seem to like Clint Eastwood's work and you need to see him in his prime. Of course he did a lot of spaghetti westerns, but he really hit his stride with Dirty Harry - a classic younger version of character in Grand Torino. And if you want to please your audience with those famous emotions of yours ... I highly recommend True Cri Crime - the tears are guaranteed. I've seen lots of reactions but I have to say .... you are the Best.

Honestly, I'm not a Tom Cruise fangirl but he steals this movie for me. He is so good and is such a charismatic bastard and outperforms Brad Pitt in every scene. I only like Tom Cruise when he plays atypical villainous roles, like in this movie and in Michael Mann's film 'Collateral.'
