Thank you for watching Elvis! Love this movie and love that it brings the true Elvis to more people. His music is deeper than the few pop songs that most people think of when they hear his name. If you'd like to learn another story of Elvis' life, you should watch Elvis & Nixon. That's a good movie too. Love that you wore pink to watch the movie too. 😉

What a great movie. I really enjoyed watching this with you and like you, there were some things I didn't know either. The guy who played him did an amazing job. This movie has been on my list to watch since it came out. I just didn't realize how his manager did him like that. So sad. Man, I bet it was amazing to see him perform in person.

Austin Butler actually did the singing for Elvis in his younger years for the movie. He even went and watched about every single bit of archived footage of Elvis, practiced and studied Elvis' voice to such a degree that he could get every change in Elvis' voice over the years, he put some serious work into that role.

Awesome pick Big Frank! Saw this film in the theater and have been wanting to see it again. I feel J is gonna love it. :) Austin Butler, who plays Elvis brilliantly in this film, worked so hard to get Elvis right that he actually had to be taken to the hospital because he was acting within an inch of his life putting his all into this character. He was just collapsing from exhaustion so he had to go into the hospital for a bit. But it certainly shows his dedication to his craft with his performance.
