I absolutely love Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins. I think Fred Ward is a really underrated actor. His ability to combine comedy, action, and drama into a single performance is exceptional.

The only similarity is giant, stop motion robots. Other than that, not really sequels and nowhere near as fun. Crash and Burn is more of a slasher with about a minute of the robot at the end. I kid you not.

This is one of those movies where I think of my dad. We always watch stuff like this from blockbuster. Dirty Dozen, Dune(1984), and Remo Williams are the prime dad nostalgia examples though.

Ok, if we’re going down this path (a choice I heartily endorse), we really need J to watch Space Truckers with Dennis Hopper and Charles Dance. There’s a whole truckload of cocaine cabinets in that film.
