It's actually an amazing storyline if you watch all of them. The last one kinda went on a weird tangent - but the rest and especially the tv series tell a very interesting story about society, mob behavior, war on class and poverty, depravity of mankind, etc

I read that the writer/director of this film was saddened that some people missed that he was writing a morality story, that this would be a bad thing if it really happened, and that they instead looked at the film as a wish fulfillment. It really saddened him. I think, while whoever is out doing all the bad things while the good people are hiding inside to survive the night, the government or someone should put out a gas that takes out all the people out doing the bad things. That way, afterward only the good people who didn't want to go out and murder/rape/hurt folks would be left. :) Easy way to get rid of all the bad people. But then, if that happened it would have been a short movie. LOL
