Agree, the movies they make now are garbage or they are remaking them with just different actors. I think the last Disney movie I recall liking was Moana and all of them before that. They don't make them like they used to.

It's the mic level. It was way too high and was losing audio, and we're still trying to find the sweet spot. I've tried to raise it when editing for YT, but I'll try to remember to boost it on the patreon ones as well going forward until we tweak it correctly.

I love that one as well. It's almost a tie for me. The first one I ever saw was Princess Mononoke n then Howls. But Spirited away is up there too. I think Princess Mononoke is my favorite.

Echoing lots of folks when I say I would like to see more animated movies, even ones you have seen but you love. On a side note, your audio has been really quiet since getting into your new place. Not sure if its a mic setting or just the acoustics of the new place, but its been in every video since you moved.

This movie will always hold a special place in my heart. From the time my sister was old enough to walk her and my dad would dance to this every time it was on. When my sister got married they danced the first dance and I cried like a baby.

You're not dumb at all. We're just not legally (through Youtube or Patreon) allowed to show entire movies, so they have to be blurred and muted. It's why we say copies must be provided. But I can usually send the copy we used to sync up and watch together. Just shoot me a message on here and I'll email you what you need if you don't have any other access to the movie being reacted to.

I'm so thrilled you did this one! I first watched it as a little girl at a birthday party and after the adults asked us who we would choose and all the girls were 'Gaston" and I was literally the only one that said Beast. Sigh. I then got laughed at. Fools. Try watchin Soul. It has such depth it makes you happy to be alive and appreciate the small things. Mulan and the Kung Fu Panda movies are also epic! You are my Favorite J! Thanks for all the awesome content. Another underrated gem is King Kong the 2005 version. Man that ending...

Thanks, Cats! Actually I have a children's book written all in rhyme - having a lot of arguments with the illustrator, so who knows when/if it'll see publication? I’ll be watching this first thing in the morning! Great choice guys! I’m not sure who is choosing most of the films but between the two of you, the last week or two has had AMAZING choices. I stay on here because I know you have to react to a variety to please everyone, in spite of the movies prior to J’s move for a few weeks haven’t been films I want to watch. But I know a LOT of your followers will have loved them and that makes me happy. But I’m also so thrilled that I have multiple each week at the moment that I like!! Slasher Saturday is the best decision EVER! Thank you both for putting a big smile on my face! I’d love to see the reaction to Hannibal to complete the main trilogy. A possible idea for J-alloween could be some remakes of ones he watched last year (like Rob Zombie’s Halloween)! Also, please watch The ‘Burbs! It’s a perfect 80s film, funny and a tiny bit spooky, with some incredible actors like Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, Cory Feldman, etc. Perfect for J-alloween! I don't know who he is, I have only seen this film all the way through 2 or 3 times. I normally reach for something like the Jungle Book or Robin Hood, there was a time in the golden age of Disney when they used a lot of the same actors.

Also hearing the asylum keeper speak his voice actor is the contender imo for top Disney Villian of all time. He charts all the bad guy metrics n adds a couple as well. I loved enjoying this one with you. I already said this was an all time fave for me as a kid n it's only grown with age. The story was strong the music was touching and gripping. As a kid it never made sense to me why everyone was so terrified of a beast who never left his castle. Basically mind ya damn business right. Imean it was my first intro to "mob mentality" in my view one of the most dangerous qualities humans have. I was terrified when they torched up n marched. But also how love can see past the surface n was a huge draw for me. Anyway I've fanboyed enough it was a real treat cant wait to see what's next.

The only voice I can name you was Angela Lansbury from "murder she wrote" as the Tea Pot. This was still in an age when animation most hired good voice actors, instead of hiring A-list actors for that name pop. A lot of times a trained voice actor could probably do a better job, they just don't get the boost at the box office that a named actor might.

From Snow White through this and all the stuff out of the 90s was the Gold & silver age of Disney, all these live-action remakes just don't measure up IMO, and some of them are even not good movies.
