First Time Watching Friday the 13th Part 2!!!

At this point, not watching Terrifier is becoming a running gag. I'm not a fan of it, either..... no worries. Although this probably becomes the cheesiest of all the slasher franchises (especially after part V), it's still my favorite franchise. Most reactors tend to stop before Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, which is one of my favorites, because that's the movie where the audiences start cheering for Jason. No spoilers, however, so I'll just leave it at that. I will say there was absolutely no experience like seeing Parts IV & V in the theaters with a large audience..... talking about audiences being completely involved in the movie (Reggie, aka 'Reckless', in part V is actually one of my favorite characters of the entire franchise - I liked him even more than Tommy Jarvis). The mid-1980's were the fun times of going to the theater. Fun fact: Parts III, IV, VII, Jason Goes to Hell (IX), and the 2009 remake were the only movies of the franchise actually released in the theaters on Friday the 13th.

Fair enough, JL! It truly does get much worse from there and Terrifier 2 is even gorier than the first!😄My daughter, Natalie, and I are big horror fans and attend horror cons as often as possible. We met the actor who plays Art the Clown a few years ago and he was nice as could be. Definitely a 180 from what he portrays in the movie. Looking forward to more Slasher Saturdays! - Jennifer

There's an idea that the Jason in part 1 was just a vision Alice had so the Jason in 2 was alive and saw his mom die. No big spoilers but hockey mask, Tommy and zombie are soon

Lmao this was worth the wait. Love every second it's been awhile since I seen it. If you ever want something a lil off the wall I'd suggest Wishmaster. They don't all hit the same but the first two are pretty solid. Anyway Slasher Saturday off to a roaring start.

Keep in mind...thoughts make reality so try to keep those thoughts positive and make your own reality awesome! If I see in the news that an evil Spock went on a bat'leth rampage I will know who it is. ;) I get it, I had to close down my own biz (that went strong for over ten years) a few years ago due to getting too many orders to keep up with by myself and could not get a loan so I could move into a larger venue and hire a few people to help because I am an independent artist and loan people (the proverbial shark made manifest) don't understand that kind of biz. They think it's too "high risk" even though I was swimming in orders. Keep me posted on how you are. Is there anyway to pm each other here?

Sadly, Echo Moon after 12+ years, at the end of the month my restaurant is Kobayashi Maru. Told the staff a couple weeks back (which will result in some early beam outs, I expect), because the needs of the many outweigh the needs of just me. I'll make Space Cake for my next restaurant: The Search for G's: it might not be good, but it's necessary. Can likely get Chris Lloyd to be maitre'd. 🖖
