2023 Week 26 Poll: Battle of the Decades Poll!!!

This week, it's the battle of the decades from the 80s til now. These are all movies J picked he has some interest in, so let's get those votes in and see what is gonna close out June for the channel. As always, you got a week to get the poll.
FOR NEXT WEEK'S POLL: We are probably planning on going back to either a "Continue a Franchise Poll", "Movies that have Few or No reactions Poll", or maybe even back to the Booger Sugar Cabinet Collection". So, for this week, drop in the comments which of these you'd want up next week. And please, do keep the suggestions to one of these. The more options we get, the less we're gonna be able to tell which has the most support. So vote, then pick and drop a comment for next week as either "Continue a Franchise" (watching sequels we haven't gotten to yet), "Movies that need more reactions" (movies people don't react to), or the Cocaine Cabinet Collection (you already know the type of movie).

Got another suggestion for Movies that Need More Reactions...Ice Pirates (1984). This is a great funny sci-fi film from the 80s, not quite as funny as spaceballs, but still pretty funny. It is an amazingly bad film. It's one of those you know going in what to expect and then can just relax and enjoy the zaniness. :) Who else remembers Ice Pirates? Perhaps we should have an "Amazingly Bad Films We Love" poll. On a side note J...George Clooney needs your attention in Return of the Killer Tomatoes (1988). Yes, I admit it, I love goofy bad movies. Maybe I have a problem... Flash Gordon anyone?

Well, 6th Sense clearly has the early lead but I'm still putting Steel Magnolias. It's such an amazing cast, with the best chemistry (both on & off screen), and it is based on a true story. I neeeeed JL to see this movie!

I absolutely love Man from Earth! I also love that they got Tony Todd ( the OG Candyman), John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox from Star Trek: Enterprise) and William Katt (Greatest American Hero) to be in it. They are all good actors and get less and less roles because of their ages now. Man from E. is such a good conversation film, very very good one. I have seen it at least 5 times. I saw the second one recently, and it does not hold up like the first one. It kinda falls off the rails toward the end. But the first one, I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good "thinking" film.

I concur, I would love for J to see the OG apes before the new ones. Even throw in the Tim Burton/Marky Mark one as well somewhere in there. Rick Baker's makeups in that one are phenomenal. Maybe after the originals and before the new ones? :)

Got to second Man From Earth. For a film that’s basically just several people in a single room talking about philosophy and the esoterica of being human, it’s gripping, emotional and thought provoking in ways that most films don’t even attempt.

I would choose Movies that Need More Reactions. My suggestions are: mother! (2017), Natural Born Killers (1994), Requiem for a Dream (2000), The Fountain (2006), Noah (2014), Predestination (2014), Altered States (1980),The Man from Earth (2007), and Ford v Ferrari (2019). I haven't really seen anyone react to these really good films. :)
