Both of my mics have omnidirectional it’s just now of them can catch that high pitch volume I have when I get excited

It seems like you have a uni-directional shotgun mic. Maybe you could get an omni-directional mic. Shotgun mics only pick up what is directly in front of them, that's why the audio drops off when you move around. Does your mic have an omni-directional option? If not, it might be a good idea to get an omni mic instead of the single direction one you have currently. That way you can move around freely and it will pick up your voice and the barks of the co-pilots. :) A lapel mic could work but they pic up fabric sounds from shirts too easily. An omni might be a better way to go.

Ok, I gotta put in my opinion on the mic arm. I don't like it. Sorry, had to be said. It blocks the beautiful co-pilots too much. Is there any way to have it on the other side/behind you and swing around near your face? We gotta have all the co-pilot babies showing not just bits, they are too cute to cover up. :)
