If anyone's curious (bet not!) the original movie that was included in that ultimate-DVD of Meet Joe was Death Takes a Holiday from 1935(?ish). Same plot...it's good...nothing anyone *needs* to see, tho. <p>Unfun fact!</p>

I just want to add that Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins chemistry together is so great, as also seen in Legends of the Fall which JL also reacted to, my first pick last year. I've wished for so long that they do a 3rd film together. I still hold out that hope.

Weird trivia: MJB did *really* well in theatres so the studio later made a pricey super-special DVD chocked full of features and even the original movie MJB is a remake of. No one bought it (I mean, *I* did.) <p>What the studio failed to realize: initially MJB had the *only* trailer for The Phantom Menace. The ticket sales were mostly a bunch of people that just watched the new Star Wars trailer at the start and then left, not bothering to even watch MJB. </p>

J had me crying with him on the last dance with his daughter. Always gets me. Great reaction, one of my faves. Hilarious moment by J, during the love scene.. "Are they making a death baby?! "🤣🤣🤣🤣
