2023 Week 14 Poll: Thank You to the Ones who Helped Us Collect Data Poll!!!
🕑 Added 2023-03-20 19:03:17 +0000 UTCYea, that title is a nightmare. But just hear me out.
This week, we're doing something a tad different. The ones who we've endlessly thanked for helping J and I collect the data for the year one video, they all sent a handful of movies, and J and I made picked to make a poll from them as a small thank you's for their help. So to Kim, Bebo, Echo, Bunny, GG, and Joey, hope your pick wins. LoL
Voting lasts a week, so get 'em in ASAP, peeps.

I can't wait to see (eventually) where J will rank Jason Bourne, the character...you know, compared to John Wick and the other "cannot be f*(ked with" characters.
CinWin
Hey Creep & Prophecy peeps....how about tossing a few votes to Bourne peeps? LOL (I never give up, huh?)
Mark Cornette
Birdcage……now please
Big Frank
So many movies, so little time!!!

Blank...whatta think of Leeland Gaunt in Needful Things? The <i>other</i> great Devil in film, I'd argue.
Chris Baldwin
What about "Million Dollar Baby"? When will that be watched?
William Bilske
Fantastic idea. Plenty of STFU's to be had in that one. JL please keep in mind for the future.
CinWin
Cool beans. Also, I've decided I would absolutely love JL to get into the Bourne movies, especially since I own all of them. ;-)

If Birdcage wins, we gotta do it week 14. But PB won’t be far behind.
CinWin
Hey EOM peeps! I've been dyin' to see my favorite reactors react to Point Break. By any chance if/when Birdcage wins, and PB comes in 2nd, could we have JL watch Birdcage during Pride Month so he can watch PBfor week 14? Wisinnggg....hoping....prayinggg...BEGGINNNGGG. ;-D

Could I replace my choice, The Prophecy, with something even <b>more</b> unloved - for irony's sake?<p>Bob Roberts or Putney Swope or Kill List or Phantom of the Paradise?</p><p>If I had my <i>own</i> channel I'd have, maybe, six followers. And would have to block at least six of them. </p><p>Oh, well.</p>
Echo
The Birdcage! Still relevant today, lol.
frost1977
since we are coming in to spring/storm season we should get JL to watch Twister.

Keep the light on, Thomas.

You come...home...with me now...

Oh my god The Birdcage is one of my all time favorite movies and I never thought I'd get to see the Murder Whistle react to it. One of the greatest comedies of the 90s by far, with a stellar cast of legends each operating at peak level. Wonderful direction of a SUPERB script. It's the rare remake of a foreign film that (imo) tops the French original. Hope it wins!
Blank EOM
Oh, it’ll still get done. Viggo is still my favorite Lucifer portrayal ever in that movie.

Has to be The Birdcage! I love that movie! It’s hilarious!

Echo, my feelings ain't hurt. It's just confusing why the flick is an obscure gem and <b>no one</b> watches it. It's genuinely GOOD, 's got a jaw-drop cast, it's funny as hell (ahem), and it's got higher stakes than Endgame. It's a <b><i>MOVIE</i></b> like very few others.<p>Its 4 (count em) strait-to-video sequels ALL suck, except 2 and 3 had Walken cameos that were brilliant comedy bits.</p>

Point Break was my pick. I tried to think of a few films that I thought J and everyone would like. Blank picked PB out of my three I sent him to choose from. (The others were Chef (Jon Favreau film) and The Prestige (Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman). There are good choices in this poll overall. :) Great job everyone!!
Echo Moon
Don't feel bad GG. I like the Prophecy personally. :)

The sequels to the French original (mostly) hold up really well!

"I could lay you out with your mother's feces in your mouth...or we could talk"...<p>....is prolly not a Viggo quote that convinces folks to watch the movie.</p>

Mine's dead last. That tracks. Poor, unloved Chris Walken 😢<p>"Who are you?"</p><p><i>*smirk*</i> "That's a long story."</p>

If you're feeling adventurous (reading subtitles) I'd recommend 1978's La Cage aux Folles - it's the original 'Birdcage' :)
