As of 2022, five of the real Rockford Peaches were still alive. **Online Movie Trivia: The characters at the Baseball Hall of Fame, and seen playing as the credits roll, are real original players from the league portrayed in the film.

If you go back and watch the credits, you can watch the actual older members playing baseball. This movie still makes me cry after many watches
