My absolute favorite part of this reaction is the chair-dancing at the end! :-D

please check out The Golden Child with Eddie murphy
William Bilske
One of Eddie's first film roles but still (IMHO) funny. Nice choice.
Alberto Blanco
The villain in this movie was supposed to play Bennet in Commando but they had problems insuring him so at the last moment they hired Freddie Mercury from Weird Science & Road Warrior. Yes that guy was in Blade Runner playing Leon.

I was wondering if you were going to figure out who Billy was 😂 I think his name is Billy in everything.

He's gotta do Beverly Hills Cop 2 BEFORE the sequel to this one lol Its WAY funnier too!

You Have To Watch The Sequel Now Too 🔥🔥🔥 These films are NOT comedies. They're NOT meant to be Funny. Any humor that does come out of them is just due to the genius of Eddie Murphy & his timing or delivery. #TellemTANKseddit

Thank you J and Blank for watching this film and sharing the experience with us. I was a little concerned when I requested this partly because much of the dialogue has not aged well and partly because it contains near toxic levels of 80’s ooze. This film is generally credited for creating the “buddy cop” genre. As you noted, Eddie was funny but not overwhelmingly so. He had made a name for himself on the stand-up circuit but had never acted in a major role. Later movies would unleash his comedic skills more fully. The captain was played by Frank McRae, former NFL star and occasional actor. If you have not seen LAST ACTION HERO, let me know. It’s an absolute blast watching him (sort of) reprise this role opposite Arnold. Trust me, if that film doesn’t go in the Cocaine Cabinet, nothing does. The sequel to this is OK, funnier, more absurd and little more than an Eddie Murphy quip delivery device. Worth watching but not brilliant.

I haven't seen this in years, but I love Walter Hill movies. But I hear this movie's language doesn't age well. I am so stoked to watch this. I have this on Blu-ray. On another note. TRESPASS. Ices Cube and T, Paxton and Sadler. Made by the same folks that did this flick. Written by the dudes who wrote BACK TO THE FUTURE.
