Agree - I could never get into or finish this film. DDL is an outstanding talent and you should watch Last Of The Mohicans. A personal favorite of mine. Think you'll enjoy it.

I'm the same. I found this movie very dry and almost boring to a degree. Definitely don't understand the hype it gets or why people think DDL does some masterful acting job. It's just a blah movie that you couldn't pay me to watch again.

It's odd...this flick speaks to me, but I don't suggest it to anyone, really. Not sure I want to be friends with fans of it, ironically being one myself. I guess I want to get away from everyone too, rather than get liquored up and go to the peach tree dance...well... actually
