I love how they reference this in TED LASSO. "Keep an eye on these guys, 'cause around the 74 minute mark, there's gonna be a room full of grown men crying."

A good film though it does not hit me emotionally the way it seems to most people, but then I don't get weepy for lack of a better way of saying it at those kinds of scenes it takes something that makes me feel like a kid again - cap picking up thors hammer, john waynes feel your fist scene or the helicopter save to air force one sequence in superman the movie make me emotional though even then not weepy. with iron giant I also felt a bit lectured, as someone who enjoys target shooting so that pulls me out of the movie a bit. overall a good film though I give it a solid 7/10.

Love this movie, glad I'm not the only one who turns into a complete mess when watching the ending.

I so remember this film I was 24 at the time and I was skeptical because it was a cartoon... I'm so glad I watched it, good times.

whitetail deer are actually way overpopulated at least around where I am, hunting season actually keeps the population healthy, they don't overeat their food supply and it helps control sickness. I do know people who keep meat on the table with hunting people with low income. it is no different than a cow becoming a hamburger.

I knew when you picked it J would be like everyone else: fine, up until "You...stay. I....go." I've seen it 100x and still gets me every single time. That up until the credits, I'm a mess. Every time. LoL

I second that, excellent pick Echo. This is one of the animations I suggest to get adults who refuse to watch "cartoons" because they do not have anything for them.

This was my pick. J, buddy, I am sooo sorry this film destroyed you like that. I wanted to pick a good love story film for Valentine's month, even though the kid/robot love is not romantic but it is a deep genuine love for each other. We all here love you too J and we appreciate what you do and go thru for us. I know many films are hard to watch or leave you feeling so emotionally wrecked, and that is your sacrifice for us.
