The female in the movie is Zooey Deschanel. Her most famous role was Jessica Day on THE NEW GIRL which ran for seven seasons. But she's also an accomplished musician. I would recommend looking up her xXxmas albums by She & Him on Spotify or YouTube. They're great xXxmas records.

You might be too young to remember the show "Newhart". It's about a couple, Bob and wife who buy a Vermont Inn. My favorite interaction's are Bob and his handymen. All brother's. Every time they would introduce themselves and I mean every single time it went like this-"Hi, I'm Larry and this is my brother Darrell, and this is my other brother Darrell". Funniest show on TV at the time. His show in the 70's, "The Bob Newhart show was about a Psychologist and his screwy patient's and friend's. His last show was on for one season, two at the most. I won't bore you anymore>

Same hun same. I think that's why I never gravitated towards Elf. I just don't find Farrell funny. I've laughed a few times but not enough to watch his stuff. I liked him on Jimmy Fallon but not much else. Another unpopular opinion, I dont like Kevin Hart after his 2nd stand-up...
