UNCHANGED: 03. Grady gets groceries

With this one I distilled the process into only the parts I actually enjoy: sketching, spending a ton of time doing super intricate inking, and then doing only the least possible amount of tone work to help guide the eye. It's what I would do if I didn't worry that people don't like black-and-white comics. And honestly I love the result (I read mostly manga, after all, which generally works like this; plus I really love obsessing over the uncoloured linework of the inking masters), but I still get super anxious about reception.
We'll see if I stick to this for the next page – and thank y'all for being patient through this recent dry period :')
