The carriage journey is slow and long, and when she finally arrives, the sun is already setting. The house is large, surrounded by a large, half-abandoned garden, where vegetation has taken absolute control of the land. Cèlia hesitates for a few moments because she doesn’t see any lights in any of the rooms. Could she have gone to the wrong address? But when she wants to turn around to ask the coachman, the carriage has already left, leaving her all alone in the middle of nowhere, away from the city.
She timidly knocks on the front door, but no one answers. When she is about to knock again, the door opens, letting her in. She immediately goes inside with the intention of thanking the butler for the welcome, but is surprised when she realises that no one is there, as if the door had opened on its own.
“Hello? Is there no one there?” She asks, venturing into the large hall.
The front door suddenly closes behind her, startling her. Her heart begins to race as she feels that something is wrong. The house seems empty, it is dark, there is no light on and not a sound is heard.
“Gelabert? Are you here?”
But no one answers. She sighs, knowing very well how Gelabert loves to play games.
She hears something upstairs and decides to go up the stairs. She starts to climb slowly, step by step, holding onto the railing, hoping to find someone up there. Suddenly, she feels as if a hand has touched hers, and she pulls it away in fright. She sees nothing; it doesn't seem like anyone is there. She touches her hand and wonders if it was her imagination.
Something about this house makes her nervous. She decides to keep going up when, under her skirts, she begins to feel a strange sensation, as if someone, a hand, is touching her, tracing her thighs up until it reaches the most intimate part.
She is about to scream, but an invisible hand covers her mouth and she feels like she can no longer move, like someone is grabbing her wrists, but she doesn't see anyone, she only feels like invisible hands are touching her everywhere with special insistence on her crotch…
