I just checked ricardo and the ones there are looking good. I have the 125mm jaw width. 100mm is pretty small and 150mm is huge. I can definitely recommend buying a pair of flat jaws from Gressel. Also get some prismatic aluminium jaws and some soft fibre jaws.

Sorry to change the subject: My Dolex vise just broke (damn French equipment!) and I'd like to replace it with a Gressel, like yours, which seems indestructible judging by the clamping you do with it. There are a few used ones on ricardo.ch (new ones are too expensive for me). Could you tell me which model you have and especially the jaw width? Thanks in advance and happy working.
