Great Convo and so much to unpack!!! I can say, I'm so thankful for my upbringing and those that surrounded me. I'm always baffled when I see young boys sitting down to pee, because the men in our households handled that part of potty training for the young men in my family. Because I was in one relationship for over a decade from senior year, I didn't understand what men meant when they would say, "you grew up with your dad." It wasn't until later (college and beyond) that I realized how young women behaved, even in highschool.
