I've worked for two Startups with one successfully obtaining unicorn status(valuation of 1billion+) and my current one closing a seed round. Startups can change your life as an early-stage employee with regard to equity, however, the time you join and the convention in which that company exits determines how much you can walk away with if you choose to do so. My experience has also led to me bootstrapping my own startup as a solo founder ;)

This is so important and not talked about enough. My husband went from a multinational corp to a health tech startup and was given a 20% bump in salary + equity. It was a risky move so I'm working at a big tech company to balance the risk. However, if their upcoming series A does well, they'll be set for an IPO, and then we could be set for 3 lifetimes

Congratulations! If it's in Silicon Valley, we'll need to schedule a meet up

So the week before this video dropped I got a message on LinkedIn from a teleheath startup looking for advisory board members. I didn't see the message until today and I probably would not have considered the opportunity if I didn't watch this video. π€ΈπΎββοΈπ€ΈπΎββοΈ

Great video! Thanks for sharing Anton. I think with any startup you need good talented people to help you grow. It's no doubt you add value and I'm sure you've done your due diligence on this company. Kindly let me know when you guys issue an IPO! :)
