I don't think there is a "good" place to leave an Ork Boy squad. If you kill 12 to leave them at 18 and there is a character nearby then can't they use the character's LD of 1 (using the option of # models in unit) and thus lose 11 + D6 to morale? Max will be 17 lost to morale which then leaves the Nob and they can Green Tide anyway...
