This is a late comment so no one will see it but I was screaming at my television — YOU GUYS — you're all very intelligent fellows but my man was saying he was from Nederland, Colorado not Nader-land. Nederland, like the Netherlands, like Dutch people? Clearly named by Dutch settlers, whenever those Europeans traveled anywhere they liked to name everything after stupid places back home, the English did it, the Scots did it, Spanish, Portuguese, and so on and so on. Nederland! From the Wikipedia: "In 1873 the Caribou Mine, at an elevation of roughly 10,000 feet (3,000 m) and 6 miles (10 km) northwest of the town, was sold to the Mining Company Nederland from the Netherlands. The high elevation meant fierce winds and deep winter snow, so the new owners of the mine decided that it was beneficial to bring ore from Caribou down to Middle Boulder for milling. In the Dutch language, Nederland ("Netherlands" in English) means low land, and based on casual usage by the Dutch miners, Middle Boulder came to be known as Nederland. Damn this was an all timer. Uncle Phil killed it. The bits go on and on. The entrance bit where Phil was lost in Tim’s backyard. the TMZ bit (actually aired on fucking TMZ hahaha) Tim bulking with Ryan Phillipe. the gang dancing to the jingle. The Vic dystopian. break video. The hilarious game from Doug trolling Phil. Awesome band. NO COMPLAINTS, can’t wait for more laughs with bulked up Tim.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but Phil feels like one of us. Just a huge fan of the show that just happens to have made it on. I loved everything about this episode. Worn-Tin absolutely ripped, it was nice to see Ryan back and bulking, all the bits were great and Jamie was a treat. Gulch Gang!!!!

Phil’s guest hosting was a delicious debut that sowed so much chaos (sans Kaoss). His philibustering was everything an Office Hours head like me could ever hope for. Or dream of. I just knew It Had to Have Phil. I also didn’t know if I wanted to punch or hug something after that TMZ bit. Just goofs all around.   Dare I say this felt like a smashing season finale before the big celebratory episode next week? Top dog Tim’s got a lot to top after this ep! (And I haven’t even finished yet 🙃)

Phil was awesome! I hope he hosts many more times. Doug turned into Tim this episode, interrupting and trying to bail on every call and funny bit! Everybody just cool out! I get that it might feel weird to you guys in the room, but man was it funny as a viewer, the whole thing! One of my fave episodes in a longggg time and very re watchable! I’m gonna rewatch it right now. Phil is so naturally funny, even him just waiting for tmz to call on him and laughing at the non stop drops was hysterical. Simple stuff is funny guys. Don’t stress so much, takes the viewer out of it when you get so antsy and annoyed. I say all this with PEACE AND LOVE 🥰

Not kidding around, think Phil was super. Sure, he seemed nervous at first and the TMZ thing was a dud. But he's so awkward in an organic way and naturally funny so it made it work. I guess Tim will joke around and say he was terrible, but I hope we get to see Phil again as a guest host. Turkington is more professional, but his persona is just a drag compared to Phil's excitement and oddness. Team Phil!

Big ‘ol Uncie Phil killed it! This show was an all timer - felt like hanging with pals. Great band (great sound in the OHL studio again!) And an existential weird video segment in the middle there had me spaced out … How do I put my pants on? Looking forward to bulked hulk Tim Heidecker stomping back into the studio again next week! 💪🏻
