Phil Braun act was so good

I'm late to the game! Sorry guys - love the show <3 always open to a Hamilton repeat - Maybe Vic will have a better trip this time lol

We’re trying to fill in the spaces Tim’s left while he’s off to the races. It’s clear, in the end, that those he calls “friend” will show up in droves, such cute faces 💕 (except Jerry)
lilula9
"All My Loving" burst into my mind at this idea. That's a (drop) YES in my book!
Johnnee
they should really do an endless honeymoon ep!
Brandon Martin
The BM bags really struck a nerve with me
Bob L.
personally i'm fine w geopolitical discussions, but i don't want to hear from a pro-Pubin stooge who spewed nonsense like 'Putin would probably respect the U.S. for helping negotiate an end to the war'....either she is embarrassingly clueless about Russia-Ukraine, or she is flat out dishonest..after all, she is a former paid contributor to Russia Today....Russia invaded Ukraine with the intention to take complete control of the country..raping, killing, torturing millions...I support Ukraine bc it's the right thing to do, and because i'm anti-fascist at home and abroad...peace n love
Bob L.
Screw Abby Martin and her pro-Putin ass...if Moshe is problematic for supporting Israel vs Gaza, then Abby is just as problematic for supporting Russia vs Ukraine
Coleman
Thanks for taking my call to defend Phil. I could have gone a lot deeper, but I want to respect everyone's time.
Phil Braun
Wouldn’t that be nice of them? I’m not suggesting that was Jerry’s idea
Nick
I just noticed the 91210. So clever.
Chad
Though I do think it's gross anyone goes on Rogan, I'm not going to bust Moshe's balls about it too much. If you listen to Endless Honeymoon episodes from the past few months, it's basically a running joke at this point that he's willing to go on any and all shows to plug his book. Like Tim said, he'd also be willing to so on a show with someone he has disagreements with in order to plug his stuff. Also...great first half with all the gals! Tig is so effortlessly funny.
Maslow
Ear Hustle is great. Good call from Matt.
M Walker
hey now, some of my best friends are in Hamas. I may not agree with them on every issue but they're still fun to hang with
Johnnee
send Phil on Vacation already!
SpongeBob Marley
Please no more Abby Martin; OHL has been lacking in the laughs department here lately as it is.
Matt
I am begging you with peace and love, do not have Abby Martin back on to talk about Israel/Palestine. We're here to laugh and have fun, not have heavy geopolitical discussions.
Maxy Boy
Everyone crying about Mosh but I’m here hoping that was the last time sir Anthony is forced on us #getvicanewguy
Faux Vernon
Great episode.

All the best to this whole thread here.

The first half was so damn funny! Those 3 women as a new Golden Girls type show would be amazing. The whistler....so was she lip syncing? I can't tell if it's a joke or not. Doesn't seem like Natasha does either. Can't wait to hear part 2!
BITKORN
The Majority Report ?
Phil Braun
He seemed like a good guy!
Jim Schroeder
For everyone jumping on Moshe with the mindset of “guilty by association” I suggest listening to his most recent interview on WTF. Moshe and Marc hold a nuanced discussion about the Israel Palestine conflict that I think is worth listening to.
Sam B
we need those jingle stems!
Count Crackula
Hey team! I was one of the people that criticized Moshe. But I wasn't suggesting the show shouldn't have them on because they appeared on other potentially problematic shows. I loved Moshe's appearance with Natasha a few months ago, he just held a belief that I didn't agree with. Peace and love, sirs. I know ya'll mean well.
Walker DeLoach
I was dying
Mike Anderson
A rough one to get through. Miss you Tim!
Old James
Neil Hamburger AND dengue fever?? Siiiiiiiiick! ✌❤🙏
Grant Peterson
Tim, what was the other podcast you were on this week? You said podcasts plural in today's ep
Brandon Jeffries
Did he specifically do something creepy you can share with us to back up that kind of labeling or is that just your feelings towards him?
Goose
The computer people at the far end of each political pole will whine no matter what, so don’t let the show be reduced to an echo chamber. Keep having interesting people on and just try and disregard the pearl clutchers
Shane Cooper
Gotta say Natasha is the best guest host yet!
Miranda Thiessen
Tim, would you ever have Marilyn on? 🥺 Or would she ever come on? A (late) Valentine's day ep maybe....I wanna hear you's two's love story hehe
Sam B
I mean, you're being kind of condescending and inflammatory yourself. I get this is an emotional topic but Moshe Kasher isn't the enemy lol
rainbowdark
Be more self aware to not be employed at a theatre that would host Rogan. Namaste.
Sam B
something about filming propaganda comedy sketches for Israeli TV
Miles Walker
Can you all responding to me with these snarky quips try using language that expresses your pov without making character attacks? People really jump at the opportunity to assert dominance over someone they feel threatens their sense of what’s right. I was attempting to engage in the discourse in good faith as a huge fan of the show. Wishing all you self awareness
Dan
Molly was great. I stumbled onto the Forgotten Edge last year and dug it
Colin Flora
Admittedly my can usage was at an all-time-high this afternoon
Johnnee
GREAT FUCKING BIT PHIL!!!
Sam B
I guess you were in the can when Tim said that part about guilt by association?
Sam B
love Natasha and Tig, great ep, many laughs
Colin Flora
Looks to me that a large number on here are forgetting the core values of OHL "I like having fun, I like to laugh"
marshy
donald byrd's work with the mizells is some of the best
rainbowdark
Maybe also watch the (multiple, RIGHT?) episodes of OHL that Abby has been on? Tim made his personal stance pretty crystal fucking clear, and WHO is surprised!? Not me. These whining comments are starting to annoy me
marshy
awful nice of that stranger to call in defending phil braun! great episode! was hoping molly would stick around for a drop concert
Jim Taylor aka Huff The Talbot

Creepy too.

Agree
Miles Walker
scientifically impossible 2 not be annoying when you're a zionist
Miles Walker
Moshe’s politics are clearly trash if he’s going on Rogan and Bialik to sell books…not to mention the whole recovery story has been done millions of times..I agree that a purity test is unrealistic for the format and capacity of this show but there clearly are some standards and litmus tests in place. What’s happening in Palestine is truly dire and it is disappointing and lacking integrity for OHL to platform anyone who cosigns Zionism or other forms of fascism like Rogan’s freak ass fuck fest for promo. I one time worked the door at a theater Rogan played in Brooklyn and genuinely felt scared for my life with his crowd. No, OHL doesn’t set out to center or analyze politics but it IS a very frequent topic of conversation so it’s not exactly off-base for viewers to have a problem with you platforming politically backwards guests. P.S. Everyone go watch Abby Martin’s doc Gaza Fights for Freedom & Free Palestine bitch!
Daniel Miller
FYI, I’m not going to be intimidated by any more anti-Semitic labels or stereotypes you throw my way. Bye
Daniel Miller
If you didn’t hate them so much, I would suggest actually talking to a Jewish person. Many are anti-Netanyahu and anti-Hamas (as any sane person would be)
Daniel Miller
I’m against either side committing genocide. You on the other hand love Hamas’s genocide against the Jews apparently. You disgusting anti-Semite
Devon Bennett
Rotten eggs aside, Disco Elysium is really friggin cool and should def be on the list
Painthuffer2
See ya!

whatever you say genocide lover. are you mistaking this for the comment section of Michael Rapaport’s podcast or something?

This ep was amazing! Natasha knocked it out of the park. Tig was so funny and what an incredible performance by Molly!

Never thought I’d see this rhetoric in the OHL community
Daniel Miller
What exactly are you implying? You sound like the MAGA idiots obsessed with George Soros. “The only explanation for someone holding a different viewpoint is if they’re being paid by a rich Jewish person”
Journe
Makes sense moshe is a zionist. I just thought he was annoying but it checks out. Now he's super annoying

Natasha again…
Daniel Miller
What a nice thing to say
the Dude
Gelman was the real victim of the Oct. 7 attacks, poor guy
Colin Flora
Great episode! I must be out of the loop... What is the deal with Brett Gelman?

Rec Center manager, Matt, I am writing to express my disappointment that your team did not include the recommendation for the game Disco Elysium (The Final Cut) from episode 278 in your list of recommendations. I believe this is a significant omission, as it is one of the most important recommendations you have received. I kindly request that you add it to the list to avoid any potential misunderstandings or accidents. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Also, could you please endorse me as "respectful" on LinkedIn? Best regards, Ryan (Great show today. Love you peeps.)
Daniel Miller
And that was a little disrespectful to Brett Gelman. I definitely don’t agree with him on everything, but he was clearly traumatized and changed by the October 7 terrorist attack
Daniel Miller
With all due respect, if we’re comparing the government of Gaza vs the government of Israel, Hamas is obviously much worse. And they are decidedly not fighting for peace
Cici
I must have missed it! Thank you for letting me know :) I’ll see if I can find it!
Tim Heidecker
Will gladly list if you ask in a more respectful manner you rotten egg! -Matt
Tom Lazar
Molly Lewis was great! I saw her open for Weyes Blood last year!
Tim Heidecker
he was on a few years ago!
Chalameybe
Wonderful episode. Always great to see the female energy. Natasha is feels so natural running the show and Tig's incredibly smart/funny. Lots of fun and variety, and I love that Tim is openminded enough trust other funny folks to do their thing. Great drops, and shout to Dougg for playing one of mine <3
Cici
Speaking of guests - have you thought of bringing on Hamilton Morris? Could tap into some of the topics you brought up last week with Moshe
Chris

Matt with the Tzadik rec…

Hey Rec Center, get me your manager. I'm disappointed that you did not list Wednesday's rec from episode 278, the game Disco Elysium (The Final Cut). It's the most important rec you mother fuckers have gotten. List it or someone may accidentally burn down your whole archive.
