Doug’s Tour Diary Day 8: Dallas
🕑 Added 2023-10-18 18:48:30 +0000 UTCLast night’s show in Dallas was awesome. We played the Longhorn Ballroom, a storied venue that was the site of a notorious Sex Pistols gig. It was also once operated by Jack Ruby!
My set went great, I landed a kickflip when I skated on stage. The crowd was hot but I had to tell one guy to SHUT UP! Luckily he obliged.
The local celebrity guest was a Grammy winning rapper named Bobby Sessions. A real pro, he did a song and got the crowd hyped.
We stayed at one of these weird hotels where the center is open and it’s really scary to look over the edge.
Finally stopped at this Buc-ee’s place that I’ve heard a lot about. It’s just a Walmart sized gas station with endless crap for the landfill. Pretty good logo I guess. I’ll try these Beaver Nuggets and get back to you.
