Love the Joel Hoel. Listening to this one made me go back and catch up. Can’t believe I wasn’t aware of this. The only note: the theme song’s intro is a little too short. It should be at least 90-120 seconds of just piano leading into the vocals. A+ content

I didn't think I would be into the Joel Hoel because I thought Billy Joel was lame. I randomly listened and loved it! Loved how Vic documented the era (with fun banter from the Trinity). Looking forward to the next Hoel 👏

Roger Ebert had to review The Comedy as it was his job, he couldn’t decide not to watch it, he had to watch everything on release bad reviews are essential, they can be funny and cathartic to read and can also bring people back down to earth who’ve gotten way up themselves, the idea of not having bad reviews written is dumb Ebert also died a year or so after The Comedy came out, he was in very rough physical condition around that time and had lost the ability to speak, if he’d seen it when he was healthier it could have been a different reaction
