Updates:
>Bitter Confessions is officially with the editor. (Manuscript return date (at the latest) is Sept 4).
>I set the release date for the public on Sept. 30. (I have yet to announce the release. I have to write newsletters, get all the links together, and do work on the website which is what I'll be doing in the background.)
>The raw draft will still continue to post through August. All active patrons will be receiving the final ebook in Sept a week or so before the release.
>As promised, the Super Patrons got the raw draft that I sent to the editor and are currently cursing me out, giving me a preview of what's to come when hundreds or thousands read this installment π³
I will be in full marketing mode: pre-scheduling newsletters and showing a chapter or two leading up to the release (for email list), updating the back matter in previous books & republishing, making reels (maybe), and setting up a snippet of books 4 as a bonus at the end of the book, author's notes, and all the other tasks that come with release. If I have time, I'll also be writing book 4 as well.
I feel like a weight's been lifted from me now that the book is with the editor. Writing a book is a monumental task and doing it in an ongoing series with books of this size and this many installments is insanity. But with book 3 pretty much complete, I'm officially in the last half of the series, which is exhilarating. Before, I had to step delicately and judge what info to give when and now I can let go of the reins and let it rip. I can't wait for BC to release so I can attack book 4 with gusto.
We're in the final stretch! Just wanted to give you guys an update. Hope you have exciting plans for the weekend, even if it's just putting your feet up to relax! We're almost there!
